Another feature of these buildings has been the use of the large stone windows on the west side of the street, and by extension, the building’s former brick facade.
“The downtown is one of the most successful, historically and culturally oriented neighborhoods in the nation, and this development is one of its defining characteristics, both visually and physically,” said Mark E. Scharzer, associate administrator to the Downtown District of the city. He likened the building to historic Atlanta’s “Golden Triangle”
